How do we produce plaster moldings?

Stucco decoration models are made using the sculpturing technique, the haulage technique, assembly of the model from plaster components, or the so-called combined method consisting in the use of fragments made from different materials, e.g. clay or Plasticine.

In the stucco trade the art of modeling is a skill requiring the highest qualifications combined with sculpturing abilities, spatial imagination and a thorough knowledge of architectural styles. Fronton applies environmentally friendly traditional technology. After model is made, a form is created, which is a negative of model, for producing its copies. Further a surface of molding is machined to remove imperfections.

Moldings can be dye for needed colour, as well as gilded.
